All that running made us incredibly hungry. It's a good thing we had dates to munch on.
After our brief yet exciting visit to Egypt, we decided to take the scenic route for the rest of Africa. Stops along the way included A is for Africa, Bikes for Rent, Africa Calling Nighttime Falling and Missionary Stories with the Millers
In the last book, we were especially awed by the story of David Livingstone. What faith! What courage! What a great God!
All that reading made us incredibly hungry again. When in Nigeria, do as the Nigerians do and eat some yams. We did just that, for an afternoon snack.
When we realized there weren't any Nordstroms in Africa, we tried our hand at designing our own clothing line.

Roll a shirt into a ball and secure with rubber bands.

Carefully add various dyes to shirt.

Allow creations to dry in the hot African sun.
Rinse, then dry again.

Wear your own and admire each other's creations!
Alas, it is time to pack our bags again as we prepare to meet new friends and experiences at our next stop....Italy!
"If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?" Luke 12:28
