After a brief silence while the kids tried to figure out what it was, they burst into a collective scream of excitement and started chanting, "Hot dogs! Hot dogs! Hot dogs!"
Oh-kay. Looks like a trip to Trader Joes is in order.
Nitrate free hot dogs. Check.
Whole wheat buns. Check.
Organic ketchup. Check.
Mustard. Check.
Alright. Let 'em roll!

It even has a bun warmer. :-)

20 minutes later....hot dogs!
Dad came home from work a little early and hadn't had lunch yet. The hot dog stand reopened for business.
Daniel quickly assumed the role of chef and placed another weiner on the rotisserie. He gave Dad a homemade "coupon" redeemable for one hot dog. (Welfare?) He explained, "Dad, when we call your number the food is ready." Elizabeth donned an apron and a paper cap as any respectable waitress would.
They watched Dad's every bite and broke into huge grins when he declared it the best hot dog he'd ever eaten. The service was top notch, too.
You're all invited to our hot dog stand. But don't all come at once.
The rotisserie only does four dogs at a time.
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31
