Love & Respect

Alan and I have just returned from an amazing marriage conference. Over the years we've gone to numerous retreats and seminars, but we both agree that Love & Respect was the most powerful conference we've ever attended.

Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs spoke on how husbands and wives can fulfill each other's needs based on the verse, "Let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband" (Ephesians 5:33). It was a perfect blend of solid doctrine, practical applications and side-splitting fun.

We laughed.

We cried.

We repented.

Not coincidentally, a friend gave me the Love and Respect audiobook for Christmas not knowing we were planning on attending the conference. But God knew. :-)

We highly commend the Love and Respect resources to all husbands and wives who desire to glorify the Lord in their marriage.
