I was watching Dad grill hot dogs. Suddenly, at 12:45 pm, we heard two loud "booms!"
We didn't know what it was. I was thinking about outer space, and I told Dad it might have been a satellite.
Then Dad remembered that the space shuttle was landing today. He went into the house and looked it up on his computer. He said that the space shuttle Atlantis had landed!
I was very excited because we actually got to hear the space shuttle!
