The Corps of Discovery

We are thoroughly enjoying our Winter Promise American History study. Our latest adventure found us joining Lewis & Clark as they blazed through uncharted territory.

We read good books.

We sketched in our nature journals.

We learned about Sacagawea and Seaman.

We built keel boats.



We sewed moccasins.



Then we wore them.



Most of all, we gained a new appreciation for the hutzpa of the brave explorers.

May God also give us the spirit of boldness as He calls us to new territories.

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6
