Yesterday morning, after a long and valiant battle with cancer, the Lord called Home my sweet friend Donna.
Words cannot describe the hole in my heart. I will miss her so, so much.
Donna was a godly wife, a passionate mom, an inspiring homeschooler, a faithful friend and a dedicated servant of the Lord. She leaves behind a husband, three children (ages 9, 6 & 3), a mom and dad, and many, many family members and friends. She was much loved.
Please pray for everyone who is hurting right now, that the God of all comfort would grant His perfect peace.Though we grieve, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. She is with our Jesus, the Savior she loved and served. She is in Paradise, where there is no more suffering, no more sorrow, no more pain. She has triumphed over death; she is alive!
Heaven is even dearer to me now.
Goodbye, my friend...but just for a little while...until we meet again.

Donna was a wonderful, warm, sweet, funny, happy, gentle, godly woman. I cannot wait to see her in heaven! Until then, I'll miss her.
