Eternal Light

One of the blessings of blogging has been making new friends from around the world. One friend who visited my blog and left encouraging comments or scripture verses was Stuart from West Yorkshire in England. He had a wonderful blog titled Peace of Mind.

I've been wondering what happened to Stuart. I hadn't heard from him lately and his blog hadn't been updated for a month. Well, our mutual blog pal Saija in Canada just found out that Stuart passed away unexpectedly on May 10th.

On May 9th, the day before his death, he posted a poem on his blog titled Eternal Light. It is a beautiful poem, but even more profound in its meaning knowing that it was Stuart's last message. He is basking now in that very Eternal Light.

Yet another reminder of the brevity of life.
