Praise the Lord

Thank you, everyone, for your kindness and encouragement about my first published layout in CK!

I have to share why I was so excited. I took a long break from scrapping and started up again last fall. I wasn't sure if I should start submitting again. There's the heartache of rejection involved as well as the time factor. Nonetheless, I submitted a few here and there, but I didn't get any bites. I wondered if I was wasting my time. Maybe this wasn't God's will for me.

So I prayed, "Lord, if you want me to keep submitting...if this is Your will...please give me a sign."

The next day CK contacted me!

I am honestly more excited about the fact that the Lord answered my prayer in such a specific way than being published. It reminds me again that God is interested in even the smallest details of our lives. He hears our prayers. He guides and leads. He is good!

another simple page.

journaling: a beautiful spring day. the sun is shining and the birds are singing. yes, go ahead. lift up your hands and praise the Lord! but don't forget--it won't always be sunny. storms will come as surely as the seasons change. keep praising the Lord. He is worthy, all the time. Mama

"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!" Psalm 90:17
