Diane tagged me with a book meme.
Name characters from books:
1) You wish were real so you could meet them.
The newlywed Mr. and Mrs. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. Call me a romantic. :-)
The monks, especially Father Peregrine, from The Hawk and the Dove. I was moved by the way the characters were confronted with their human weaknesses and how they expressed humility in their repentance.
2) You would like to be.
The mature Katherine in Stepping Heavenward. She exemplified what it meant to live for the glory of God.
3) Who scares you.
Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. While I loved this story, there were moments when Mr. R gave me the heebie jeebies.
The immature Katherine in Stepping Heavenward.
With much consternation I recognize myself in Katy. Scary!
Noelia tagged me with this one: Share some of your favorite blogs you visit for inspiration.
Most of these aren't blogs, but I visit these sites when I'm in need of a shot of inspiration:
Photography: Jinky Art & Tara Whitney
Books: Semicolon & Pemberley.
Homeschooling: Jeannie Fulbright & Brave Writer.
Proverbs 31 Womanhood: Elisabeth Elliot & Revive Our Hearts.
If you're a blogger, consider yourself tagged. Pick one or both memes, blog about it and leave a note in the comments. :-)
"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8
