Rockin' Girl Bloggers

It's fun when a blogging pal tags me, but I confess I haven't been johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to responding. Sometimes I procrastinate; other times I forget!

Linda L. at Faith in Love awarded me the Rockin Girl Blogger award last month. Thank you, Linda! Though we've yet to meet in person, we've come to know each other through online Bible studies over the last six years. We email each other prayer requests, book recommendations, homeschooling trials and triumphs, and just everyday banter. Linda always displays a gracious and thankful spirit. I get a kick out of our emails because we share the same name.

My assignment is to pass on this award to five female bloggers. This is no small task because I can think of at least twenty women to crown. That being said, I hereby pass the scepter to:

Donna at Quiet Life: where else can you get Elisabeth Elliot, Jane Austen, fashion commentary, gorgeous photos and chatter about homeschooling, food and knitting....all in one post?

Lisa at Life in Seasons: my Bible loving, Scripture quoting, Feingold following, homeschool bloggin' pal. A breath of encouragement.

Phisch at In That Number: not just because I adore that cute hula girl on her blog but because she is a sweet example of a woman striving to walk the talk.

Blest at Blest with Sons: she rocks because she's a loser (from a size 20/22 to a 4/6!) and a winner (tackling her son's Asperger's Syndrome with grace). Plus, she loves C.S. Lewis, too!

Saija at Thro' a Glass Darkly: my Canadian pal who never ceases to amaze me with her ability to praise God in difficult times. She also sends me photos of her thermometer in the dead of winter to taunt me. :-)

Ladies, you rock!
