Our puppy Nutmeg is scheduled for her first hip replacement surgery tomorrow.
There's a problem. She somehow escaped out of the yard this afternoon and has been lost since noon.
Her ID tags are on her new collar. Unfortunately, she is wearing her old collar.
We've put up signs all over the neighborhood (Daniel's practice version is above). It is raining and we're praying they hold up. We're praying someone has her and will see one of the signs.
Please pray that she is safe and that we find her soon. She needs her surgery. Thank you!
Update: After five looooong hours, Nutmeg has been found! Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers!
She was hiding in our neighbor’s garage the whole time. The funny thing is that the neighbor’s teens were hanging out in the garage for a couple of hours and never realized she was there until just a few minutes ago. Poor girl; she was shaking and couldn't move. Alan had to carry her home.
Please pray that her hip replacement surgery tomorrow goes smoothly. She is expected to spend 1-2 nights at the hospital.
This whole ordeal reminded us of God’s searching heart…how much He desires to seek and save those who are lost. And what joy there is when a lost one has been found!
