Jonathan & the Rubik's Cube

After learning how to solve the standard 3x3 cube last summer, Jonathan received a 4x4 cube from Daniel for Christmas. He's memorized most of the algorithms for it and is working on mastering it. Daniel also gave him a book which gives the history of the Cube. Apparently, a math teacher wanted to illustrate a concept to his students and came up with the first puzzle. Since then, many variations have been developed and "speedcubing" has become a bonafide hobby.

I didn't realize how popular Rubik's Cubes are with geeks--Caltech has a Rubik's Cube club!

You Can Do The Cube (This is what Jonathan used to learn the cube.)
