Where's The Map When You Need One?
Mom: Elizabeth, do you know what Christmas is all about?
Elizabeth: Jesus was born in a manger.
Daniel: Yeah, in Bethle-horn!
As Long As It's Balanced
Elizabeth: Guess what we can have for dinner at Christmas. A salad bar!
Me: (chuckling) That sounds healthy.
Elizabeth: And I've got a great idea. We can have lollipops for dessert!
Junior Theologian
Jonathan: It seems to me that after Bible time there is always a little more joy in the house.

Scratch my earlier entry. All I want for Christmas, Lord, is more of You.
Read Christmas Snippets, Part I
"Then the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!" Luke 2:10-14

Beautiful picture, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to wait until our oldest son comes home and take a picture of all the children.
We just did not have a photo of all four of them ...and I forgot over Thanksgiving!
Hope they smile pretty...and are not too silly :o)
Linda,
ReplyDeleteYou might suggest that your readers take a second look at the Birthday Wishes for your Pastor...
