Making Valentines

Hey everyone, it's Shadow again. My Mom hasn't been blogging much lately because she's been doing biomedical research. She'll be back in the saddle again soon but in the meantime I'll pick up the slack for her and blog about my favorite kids. Did you know that dogs are good at eavesdropping?

Elizabeth: Mama, I'm going to have four kids. Just for you!
Mom: Really?
Elizabeth: Yes! And when you become a grandma, I will make you clam chowder and bake you a blueberry cake.
Mom: I'd better stick around!

It's almost Valentine's Day!


Making Valentines is fun for the kids, but glue and
scissors is always a scary combo if you ask me.


Here are special handmade Valentines for
nursing home friends.

Daniel: When I get to heaven, I'm going to give a Valentine to Jesus.
Elizabeth: And when I get to heaven, I'm going to give Him a big kiss.

Do dogs get Valentines? I'd better watch that Snoopy video and find out. If not, I'd be happy with a pig ear!
