A Gifted Preacher

Amir from Israel was supposed to be the guest preacher at our church today. But he received a phone call saying that his home town had been shelled; he flew home immediately. Please pray for Amir and his family, and for the peace of Jerusalem.

In his place, Ray Comfort of
Living Waters Ministries came to talk about Hell's Best Kept Secret. What a gifted preacher; he gave one of the most powerful messages I have heard in a long time! If you haven't heard it yet, you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to do so. Click on the link to hear it online.

After the service I picked up some of his resources, came home and started reading
The Way of the Master, co-authored by Comfort and Kirk Cameron (yes, that Kirk Cameron). It is one of the best books I've read in a long time! (Oh, did I just say that about something else? Apologies for the redundancy, but this is not an exaggeration.)

Now here's something to think about.

Are you a good person? Are you sure? Take the test.

Update on Auntie Yoko:

After reviewing detailed CT scans, the surgeon said that the cancer has spread and that surgery is no longer an option for Auntie. This news has understandably hit the entire family hard.

I am not giving up hope, however. This is what Jesus told men when they didn't believe there was hope: "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." Therefore, I will not stop praying for my Auntie.

Above and beyond physical healing, I especially continue to pray for Auntie to trust Christ as her Lord and Savior. Please join me in praying for her and for our entire family. Thank you for standing in the gap of our behalf!

"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 10:13
