Alan gestured to his son Jonathan in a daze and said, "He beat me. I can't believe he beat me." Jonathan excitedly jumped up and down and screamed, "I beat Daddy! Checkmate!" He explained that he had started playing Chess less than a month ago but had practiced every day with the Chess software his mother had bought for him for Christmas.
There were no reported injuries at the scene except for a slightly bruised ego.
