Busy day--school is back in session, there are mountains of laundry to sort, and I'm still trying to translate code--but I had to take a quick break for a weather report:
It's hailing right now in our backyard!
This is very exciting news for former Hawaiians and three kids who have yet to see snow. :-) To add to the excitement, we are experiencing lots of thunder and lightening.
We'll read a good book on weather and count this as science class.

Oh, we're never too busy for a good storm here. I love thunderstorms, although combined with hail, they can be nasty.

your storm sounds nice . . . we had a storm like Linda was talking about - 14 inches of snow within a 3 day period . . . now that we are all cleared out, the thermostat has dropped to -37C .... brrrrrr .... definitely a time to read books and stay indoors - for us "old" folks anyway!! blessings!
