"Akemashite Omedeto Gozaimasu!"

Happy New Year from our family to yours!

May "the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-27).

  2. Lovely! What a sweet way to open the new year.
I hope to visit more often and will look at those online Bible reading plans. I did pretty good with one last year, but still not every day.
Oh, and I am preparing your Portuguese Bean soup for after-church Sunday dinner. I'm serving it with a spinach salad. Not sure about dessert yet.

  4. Happy New Year, Dana! I'm thrilled you're making the soup recipe. Please let me know how it turns out. A dessert...hmmmm...how about a trifle? LOL!

I believe the reading plans allow for "free days" in case a day is missed or someone wants to re-read a section, so it's pretty flexible. Blessings to you! :-)

  8. What a cutie! She reminds me of the little girl in one of the picture books my parents brought home from a trip to Japan. She's a doll :)
