71% Contained

as of 7:00 am this morning.

So much to be thankful for. The fire has moved away to wild terrain and is no longer threatening homes. No homes were damaged. The weather is improving. Full containment is expected by Sunday.

Thank You, Lord!

For once, I am glad I don't have any photos to post. :-)

Lessons I learned (or re-learned) this week:

When it comes down to it, very few things are irreplaceable.
Those irreplaceable things are what I need to invest my time in.
There is never a moment when your faith is not being tested.
God grants His grace at the moment you need it.
Always be ready, in season and out of season.
Parents set the attitude for the home.
We can learn a lot from kids.
Decluttering is a good thing.
God is merciful!
Thank you again, dear friends and family, for your prayers! A special shout out goes to my Blog Sistah Donna, who posted a prayer request on her fabulous blog. What a comfort to know friends around the world are praying!

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." Psalm 107:1
